CEO
Ebenezer Tackie Oblie is a Chartered Marketer and a project management practitioner with considerable management experience in Construction, Insurance, Petroleum & Banking and Finance. Prior to founding Calogeron, Ebenezer worked as a Portfolio Manager at Starlife Assurance Ghana. He has extensive professional experience spanning 10 years handling roles such as Business Development Manager, Corporate Relationship Manager, Branding and Marketing Manager as well as Assistant Claims Manager across different companies. He also worked in civil society and the policy advocacy space for many years as founder of a policy think tank. These positions involved fund raising, building sales and marketing teams, building business relationships with value partners, developing strategy, forging partnerships, writing sales and strategy reports, advocating and communicating change and so forth. He also holds an Executive certificate in Leadership and Corporate Governance from the International Organization for Capacity Building (London). He has handled corporate portfolios ranging between $10 million-$25 million.
Architect
Desire is founder of AD Property Group (Pty) Ltd. He consults for a multinational property development Company in Johannesburg, South Africa as a Development Manager for Africa. His deep knowledge of the Property market across Africa differentiates him from his peers in the industry. He worked with a team that Has overseen and successfully managed development projects in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Senegal, growing turnover to about (R4.03billion/$310million) within a span of three years. A chartered quantity surveyor and holds a Master’s in Business Administration, he has relevant knowledge and experience of the set- up, procurement and delivery of successful property developments and management.
Operations
Alfred holds HND in Building Construction from the Accra Technical University, a BSc. Quantity Surveying and MSc in Project Management from KNUST and currently practicing Quantity Surveying with Key Contracting. He has in- depth work knowledge in detailing of works ranging from single unit residential projects to large scale commercial projects. On these projects, he exhibits good knowledge in 2D, 3D skills. He has deep knowledge across other technical industries especially the oil and Gas sector
Finance
Emmanuel Addotey-Mensah holds a Bsc. Accounting Degree from the University of Professional Studies (UPSA). He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Course Certificate and is a finalist of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) professional Qualification. Emmanuel has over 10 years’ experience working in the Investment Consulting and Pensions Industries. He was part of a team that successfully managed the Gold Venture Capital Fund for a period of five years. During his time with Boulders Advisors, he worked with the team to move the fund from $4 milllion to $8 million. He was also part of the team that set up Secure Pensions Trust Limited and managed it for six years. He together with the team started Secure Pensions from the scratch and at his exit, the company had GHC 12 million of assets under management. His areas of expertise include Accounting, Financial Management, Strategy, Treasury Management.
